Of course, all the gift-giving, cookie-baking and holiday parties can be so much fun, but they can also be super stressful, especially if you're the one playing hostess to family and friends all November and December long. And while we love helping you out with our top gift picks for mom and dad, our favorite Christmas cookie recipes to bake, our easy-to-make side dishes for Christmas Eve dinner and more, we know it all can't get done without some of our top-tested products.
That's why this year we're bringing you a gift guide of GH Tested products that have been vetted by the Good Housekeeping Institute experts that will ensure that you're well-rested, cozy and ready to decorate. Available in 4.5 ft, 6.5 ft, 7.5ft, 9 ft and 10 ft sizes, Good Housekeeping Institute experts found that this pre-lit tree is easy to assemble and simply needs to be plugged in to work. In their tests, the branches are strong enough to hold regular ornaments and the material is flame retardant so it won't catch on fire. Our experts were re-assured of the fire safety because of the UL-Listing, which is a reputable third-party lab that tests for electrical safety.
Vera Bradley VB Cloud 2-Mile Cozy Mule
In our tests, Good Housekeeping Institute experts found the shoes lightweight, easy to slide on and super soft. They said the memory foam bottom was comfortable and cushioning. Some testers said that they run small so keep in mind when considering sizing, but our reviewers agreed they were warm, snuggly and provided good support. The brand advises that all half sizes should size up.
Purple Hybrid Premier 3 Mattress
Our experts loved the unique purple grid material, and testers said it was the perfect combination of soft and firm and keeps them from feeling their partner's movement throughout the night while they sleep. Many noted how cool the mattress stayed throughout the night. One even called it a "godsend."
